LED screen may be attacked by strong electricity and strong magnetic field caused by lightning. Install lightning protection device on LED display screen and buildings. The main body and shell of LED display screen are well grounded, and the grounding resistance is less than 3 ohm, so that the large current caused by lightning can be discharged in time.
Method / step 1:
Check the power supply voltage: find out the DC positive and negative connection switch power supply, connect the 220 V power line to the switching power supply, (connect to AC or NL terminal after confirming the connection is correct), and then plug in the power.
At this time, we will find that the power light will be on, and then use the DC gear of the multimeter to measure the voltage between V + and V -. Make sure that the voltage is between 4.8V and 5.1V. There is a knob beside it to adjust the voltage with a cross screwdriver. In order to reduce the screen heating and prolong the service life, the voltage can be adjusted to 4.5v-4.8 when the brightness requirement is not high. After confirming that there is no problem with the voltage, disconnect the power supply and continue to assemble other parts.
Method / step 2:
Turn off the power first
Connect V + to red line, V – to black line, respectively to control card and LED unit board, and black line to GND of control card and power supply. The red line connects the + 5V of the control card and the VCC of the unit board. One power cord per unit board. When finished, please check that the connection is correct.

Connecting control and unit board
Connect with the finished cable. Pay attention to the direction. Do not connect it in the opposite direction. Please note that there are two 16pin interfaces on the unit board, one for input and one for output. The input is near 74hc245 / 244, which connects the control card to the input. The output is connected to the input of the next cell board.

Connecting the RS232 data cable
Connect one end of the finished data line to the DB9 serial port of the computer, and the other end to the control card. Connect the 5-pin (brown) of the DB9 to the GND of the control card, and connect the 3-pin (brown white) of the DB9 to the rs232-rx of the control card. If your PC does not have a serial port, you can buy a USB to RS232 serial port conversion line in the computer city.

Check the connection again
If it is correct, the black line connects – V and GND. The red wire connects + V and VCC + 5V.

Switch on 220 V and open the downloaded software
Under normal conditions, the power light is on, the control card is on, and the screen is displayed. If not, please check the connection. Or check for troubleshooting. Set screen parameters and send subtitles. Refer to the software instructions for details.

Full color LED display screen installed outdoors, often exposed to the sun and rain, wind blowing dust cover, the working environment is bad. If electronic equipment is wet or seriously damped, it will cause short circuit or even fire, and cause fault or even fire, resulting in loss. The screen body and the joint between the screen and the building must be strictly waterproof and leakproof; the screen body should be provided with good drainage measures to ensure smooth drainage in case of water accumulation.
The ambient temperature varies greatly. LED display screen itself will produce a certain amount of heat when it works. If the environment temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is poor, the integrated circuit may not work normally, or even be burned, so that the display system can not work normally. Install ventilation equipment to lower the temperature so that the internal temperature of the screen is between – 10 ℃ and 40 ℃. An axial flow fan is installed on the back and top of the screen to discharge heat.
